BANK OF INDIA OFFICERS Eligibility

Nationality/ Citizenship:
A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st  January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.  Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) as above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.  A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/ interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him

Credit Officers As GBO – JMGS-I : A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online

IT Officer As Specialist in JMGS-I : a) 4 year Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation

OR

b) A graduate degree in any discipline AND Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Computer Applications

OR

C) A Graduate degree in any discipline AND having passed DOEACC B leve

No Experience required.

Age: (as on 1.02.2023)  

Credit Officers : Minimum 20 years – Maximum 29 years.

IT Officer : Minimum 20 years – Maximum 29 years.

PAY SCALE : Basic pay as below  and other allowances and perquisites as applicable:
